Burgundy
Burgundy is not one big vineyard but the name of a province that contains at least three of France's best. There is a total of nearly 100 Appellation Controlees in Burgundy, most refer to geographical areas. The grapes they are mainly using are Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The Beaujolais wines are made with Gamay grape and Bourgogne Aligote are made with Burgundy's second white grape Aligote.
